Sorry for the interruption of service, folks. Our SSL certificate expired very recently and wasn't renewed due to an oversight. This caused some login issues and other problems with the site. I've renewed it and all should be back to normal now. Thanks for your patience.
ICM had forums since its inception, however, they were rarely used. Since the ICM enjoys such a large community who doesn't seem to want to use the forums, the ICM admin has decided to remove them from the site. Please feel free to send the ICM admin an email if you feel this was a bad idea.
The ONLY affect claiming an invite code has is that your username will appear in the "Contributed by" column of a game list next to the claimed invite code. Some people (not surprisingly) feel strongly that their invite code should have their account information in the corresponding "Contributed by" column. To meet the demand of these individuals, users now have the ability to claim their invite code so that their account information replaces that of the individual who originally contributed it.
Due to an increase of spam submissions on the website I had to activate login image CAPTCHA. The spam bots can apparently do simple math so users must once again enter in the text shown in the image before logging in.
Code contributors now have 48 hours to delete codes they have contributed. This feature was added because contributors often complained that they would accidentally upload invalid codes and didn't have a way to correct that mistake.
A small improvement was made to make tracking codes faster and easier. Now when you double click a code to copy it, the corresponding "already used" check box is checked, too.
On Saturday Oct. 31 the ICM will get a new feature that lets registered users claim anonymously contributed codes as their own. It will be a quick game of chance, that if won, will allow users to claim as many codes as they can within the following two minutes. The game can be played every five minutes and those who have contributed lots of codes will have better odds of winning each time they play.
You must be logged in to play.
Anonymous codes claimed by this method will add to your code contribution history, thereby helping you to become a featured contributor, however, only new code contributions will improve your odds of winning each time you play.
We just thought it would be more fair to give our big code contributors a few days of heads up before introducing this feature.
Turf Wars by MeanFreePath LLC has been added. It's a cool mob themed game that allows gamers to take over real world territory in the game. Want to be the mob boss of your real-life neighborhood? This game might be for you.
If you have a personal website that you administer then please put a link to http://invitecodematrix.com on your site. Doing so will help increase the visibility of the Invite Code Matrix on search engines, thereby increasing the likelihood that more people will add your game codes.
May your armies, possies, clans, alliances, families and hordes (and so on...) grow unstoppably large!
Due to recent site upgrades the ICM had a rough week! I believe all bugs are now fixed. As always, feel free to email me at webmaster@invitecodematrix.com to report any bugs, make suggestions, or just to tell me how deeply you enjoy using the site. ;)
In addition, there is a new feature in the Epic Pet Wars and Epic Soldier Wars lists that allow you to automatically invite others to join your posse by clicking the "Add" button that corresponds to each code. You must login to http://www.epicpetwars.com/ (or http://www.epicsoldierwars.com/) with your game account in order to use this feature.
Ninjas Live by Storm8 has been added today. In addition, newcomer to the genre GreenRobot has two new titles: Vampires and Pirates...also added. Enjoy!
You can now login and rate the games by clicking on the rating link in the "Average Rating" column on the home page. You must be logged in to rate a game.
Replaced title of user profile field formally called "Games You Play" to "More About You" since the games you play are already dynamically displayed in the user profile.
ICM has collected more than 50,000 codes. Thanks to all of our contributors who have done an amazing job of adding hundreds of valid codes daily and marking invalid codes.
Thanks again and may your armies, posses, families, clans, hordes, dojos, courts, packs, and covens become unstoppably large!
Magic Wars by Sara Lewis has been added. It looks like a well developed app that relies on physical gestures of the iphone to cast magic against other players...interesting.
Invite Code Matrix is one month old and in its short life it has accumulated almost 35,000 codes! Keep the codes coming and Invite Code Matrix will continue to grow with helpful and engaging new features. Thanks everyone! And a special thanks to our major code contributors.
Found a bug introduced last night that kept new users from registering!!! This has been fixed and the Names and Codes addition to the account pages now function correctly.
Now the top three code contributors of each list get their character profile information (including their invite code if they specified one in their "character profile") pinned to the top. The top three contributors are signified by the red star icon.
My hope is that this feature will encourage registered users to contribute more codes to the Invite Code Matrix database.
Is your invite code buried deep down in one of the lists where you think nobody will ever find it? Account holders can now promote their codes to the top of the lists by creating a character profile and including their game character's invite code! Create a FREE account to try out this new feature.
If you're worried that the same self-promoters will always be at the top of the list, don't worry, you can also sort each list by codes you haven't used or the date codes were originally submitted.
